Iceland: Fire & Ice
Iceland is a land of contrasts, born of fiery orange volcanoes and covered with deep blue-green ice, verdantly lush in some areas and other-worldly arid in others, it is a complex landscape. The climate is cold enough to produce some of the largest glaciers in Europe, yet it is tempered by the gulfstream and has a wide range of vegetation. This combination of landforms lends itself to wonderful photography, from the waterfalls to the glaciers and braided streams.
