Torfakvisl Valley, Road Behind the Mountains, Iceland

We stopped for lunch today on a ridgeline with a 360 degree view of the various valleys below, it was hard to decide what to shoot. The Torfakvisl Valley was laid out in front of us most prominently with Mt. Stora-Graenafjall forming a backdrop in the distance. The valley was obviously very lush green, but I liked the black and white interpretation of the scene with the layering of the various ridgelines and the meandering river in the foreground. Yet a different view of the incredibly varied terrain here in Iceland.
